Born and raised in Provo, Utah. Attended UVU where he received an RN degree in 2003. He worked at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center working in ICU and Cardiovascular care units. He attended the University of Utah and received a Bachelors of Science in 2005.
In 2008 he moved to Pittsburgh, PA to attend LaRoce College for an advanced practice nursing degree in the field of anesthesia. He received is Master of Science in 2010. Also, in 2010 he relocated to Amarillo, Texas to work as a certified register nurse anesthetist (CRNA) with an emphasis in neurosurgery anesthesia.
In an effort to be closer to extended family, Zach and his family moved to Lehi, Utah in 2014 and began working as a CRNA at multiple hospitals and surgery centers. In 2017, along with his partner Ryan Blaney, he founded Elevation Anesthesia, an office based anesthesia service for dental and other offices requiring IV sedation.
Married to his wonderful wife Brooke since 2002, they have 3 beautiful daughters and one handsome son. Besides spending time with his family, he also enjoys going up American Fork Canyon to fish and hike with his kids. He also likes to golf with his dad, brother, and brother in laws.
The benefits of IV infusion are something he has witnessed first hand, and careful screening and care of each client who receives any of the benefits of vitamin therapy is his upmost priority.
